Not that this guy is arguing from good faith anyway. But Israel is not particularly interested in getting their hostages back, they don't seem to be admitting how many they've directly killed in airstrikes, but journalists have noted a non-neglible amount of them. The goal is to kill palestinians, not rescue anyone.
I was going to say does that mean we kill 40k Israeli citizens everytime the IDF guns down one of the hostages waving a white flag.
