There's this fantastic training movie on surviving edged weapons where information about how quickly a person can close 15 feet of distance, is presented side by side with a scenario of a satanic cult doing ritual human sacrifice. It was everywhere.

Maybe they reveal the scenario at hour 7.
I don't think any of it makes sense as a "real world" challenge unless you approach this with SWAT team member cop brain. I'm not gonna claim a police sniper rushing up 4 flights of stairs to hit an impressive shot right after, out of breath, isn't tense or exciting or whatever, but it is SWAT Team Member Daydream. For an actual police force, at the point where that is necessary to happen you fucked up. Either on the strategical level for the situation or like layers and layers above on a like "this is a government entity with a mission statement"-level.
This challenge and the entire competition tells you nothing about policework other than how the competing teams would fare if they were thrown into action movie situations.
