The sub is moderated by Destiny-fans. They boost clips on the subreddit that support Destiny. The sub is probably also pro-Zionism. I think they probably also promoted the Hasan shock-collar conspiracy theory.

Stale2000 was the top mod of the subreddit but I think there are other still other mods on r/livestreamfail that are Destiny-aligned.

I have commented about it a couple times before.

The concept of "destiny-aligned" is even more pathetic. By Destiny-aligned, I meant that Stale2000 is a prominent member of Destiny's private chat rooms. He talks to Destiny regularly. He moderates the r/livestreamfail subreddit to secretly promote Destiny.

A few years ago, Stale2000 made a video for a contest to be named as Destiny's favorite chatter of the year. The video is deleted now.

it's a key detail to the story. it's not an accomplishment. It shows that Destiny's community organized secret astroturfing campaigns which frequently appear on the front page of reddit.

They also did harassment campaigns against internet figures who spoke out against Israel and against Zionism.

It's very much a coordinated smear effort. Hasan's takes and positions are flawed, but I think people to his left should offer him a lot of grace because of what he personally has to go through while being a prominent supporter of Palestinian liberation, basic socdem domestic policies, platforming anti-imperial positions, and regularly mentioning PSL on his stream in a positive light.

This does not mean he is above criticism, it means that just like other figures, the criticism must be distinguished from the existing right-wing hate brigades.
