My first was sh.itjust.sucks and somehow I still wound up here lol. I also believed everything they said about hexbear but left and made a .ml account because the barefaced bigotry I saw there was too much even for liberal me. After making a .ml account I saw memes from yogthuos and made a post on askchapo wanting to know about communism within like 2-3 months. Someone linked yellow parenti and now I am a member of PSL lol

That is just not true. It is true for lemmy.ml, but the latter happens to be just one instsnce of Lemmy. There are more of them. Imho lemmy.world tone is pretty much the same of Reddit's, maybe even a bit less political.
