I don't hate him any more than I do any other generic tech demon, but I uniquely hope he dies in the most anticlimatic way before age 50. Like he chokes on an orange or slips on some ice. All of this needs to be for nothing.

That'd still be poetic, but we already know he's just doing Icarus shit. My core expectation is he's going to live until like 70-100 and then die of some health event. If he dies at 50 of a heart attack, that's just what you start to expect from anyone around that age. If it's some cosmically stupid Looney Toons death, that's what really subverts my expectation and makes it as poetic as being shot under a banner that says "PROVE ME WRONG" while mid-sentence downplaying gun violence. He'd be pure absurdist comedy if he fell into an open manhole or got an infected cat bite.
Comically stupid Looney Toons death would be funny, but have you considered how funny it would be if doctors learned ten years from now that injecting yourself with the blood of the young causes some kind of horrible blood disease and he dies from that?
Well at least he would have given his life to further our scientific understanding of how to live longer (i.e. if you want to live longer, whatever you do, don't fucking do that)
It probably leads to a much faster build up of heavy metals in the bloodstream, and there's a whole host of issues that comes with that.

It's not just the time. From what I can tell he also has an extremely rigid schedule and a very limited range of experience. I'm sure he has plenty of comforts being a billionaire, but his life honestly sounds like a nightmare. He's going to be so relieved when he eventually dies at a totally normal age (if not sooner).

He's a billionaire, he has no one he actually cares about. Billionaires fear death because they are terrified that their empty pursuit of profit was a hollow and meaningless life. They can't take their wealth with them.
Huh? Are you implying that fearing death is inherently a selfish impulse or something? Or exclusive to the rich? Because like, I'm poor and have always feared death and do not want to stop experiencing things. But I wouldnt want to be immortal alone or anything.
Fearing death is normal, but the rich want to be immortal because they can't handle the idea of all their fucking people over and wealth acquisition amounting to literally nothing in the end, not even fond memories or thoughts of people they shared their life with, just ghoulish hedonism at best.

This is always such a spurious argument. The average person already outlives half the people in their life, and I've seen enough happy old people to know it's not necessarily life-destroying.
Obviously we don't have any examples to know how it would affect someone but outliving half the people you know is pretty different to outliving literally everyone you know while also knowing that you always will.
